Ozark Motor Lines Driver Trainers not only get the satisfaction of mentoring new drivers, you also earn great extra income. In fact, driver trainers at Ozark can average an additional $450 per week (that’s about $1,800 more per month). We make sure our trainers are well compensated, with pay by the mile plus $75 for each day spent with a trainee. To become a driver trainer at Ozark, there are a few important requirements. You’ll need at least one year of over-the-road experience, with a minimum of 90 days driving with Ozark Motor Lines. A safe driving record is essential, along with strong communication skills to effectively train new drivers. Most importantly, you must have the ability—and the patience—to think like a teacher, helping your trainee develop the skills and confidence needed for a successful career on the road with us here at Ozark.
